LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE
Monitors state and federal legislative issues and activities and assesses their impact on the Council members. Prepare responses, opinions, or advisory statements for transmittal to the appropriate legislative body or agency. Works with CDPHE on policies derived from regulations, especially those policies which have had little stakeholder input and may add to existing permit requirements. Consideration may be given to associating with other entities who also track environmental policy and legislative issues.
